Volunteer To Search

By participating as a volunteer in the Sonoran Search for Daniel 2025, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and responsible for anyone you bring to the search agreement to the terms:

Volunteering at Your Own Risk:
You understand and agree that participation in the search effort is entirely voluntary and may involve inherent risks, including, but not limited to, exposure to extreme temperatures, challenging terrain, dehydration, wildlife encounters, and physical exertion. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your involvement.

Adherence to Safety Rules:
You agree to carefully listen to and comply with all rules, instructions, and guidelines provided during the safety briefing before the search begins. This includes, but is not limited to, guidance on hydration, navigation, communication, and emergency procedures. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in being asked to leave the search effort.

Release of Liability:
By participating, you release and discharge the organizers, coordinators, and any associated individuals or organizations from all claims, liabilities, or demands arising from your participation in the search, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Personal Responsibility:
You affirm that you are physically and mentally capable of participating in this effort and that you have taken steps to prepare yourself for the conditions of the Sonoran Desert. You also agree to notify a team leader if you experience any discomfort, distress, or injury during the event.

Acknowledgment of Understanding:
By participating, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this disclosure and waiver of liability. You also agree to sign any additional waivers or forms required by the organizers.
